Supplies

Milk
Dish Soap
Food Coloring
Cotton Swab
Plate or bowl

Step 1: Set Up the Experiment

Pour the milk into the plate or bowl, just enough to cover the bottom. Next, soak an end of the cotton swab in dish soap.

Step 2: Begin the Experiment

Drop a few drops of food coloring onto the milk. Then, touch the tip of the cotton swab to the milk. Watch as the rainbow spreads!
