‘90 Day Fiance’ Alum Leida Margaretha Arrested for Domestic While Armed, Accuses Husband Eric of Abuse
90 Day Fiancé alum Leida Margaretha was arrested and held in the Adams County, Wisconsin, jail on January 24.
Records viewed by In Touch show that Leida, 35, was charged with domestic while armed, mistreating an animal, disorderly conduct and felony bail jump. She has a court date set for Monday, January 27, and a judge will set her bail at the hearing.
The former TLC star also accused her husband, Eric Rosenbrook, of domestic abuse.
“MY HUSBAND PHYSICALLY ABUSED ME. I WON’T BE SILENT ANYMORE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,” Leida wrote via Instagram Stories above a photo of herself with what appeared to be a bruise above her eye. “I LET EVERYBODY KNOW WHY I FILED FOR A DIVORCE BACK IN 2024. I WON’T BE SILENCED ANYMORE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.”
However, Eric, 47, tells In Touch that Leida hasn’t shared all of the information.
“What she has posted is not the whole story,” Eric said in a statement on January 25.
The Wisconsin native added that he would have more in the coming days.
90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates was first to report the news of Leida’s recent arrest.
Leida’s recent arrest wasn’t her first run-in with the law. In October 2023, she was arrested for theft and wire fraud after she was suspected of stealing thousands of dollars from her place of employment.
“On Thursday, October 5, 2023, the Portage Police Department was notified by the owners of Loggerhead Deco, located on La Dawn Dr. in the city of Portage regarding an internal theft involving a temp employee employed as their bookkeeper,” a press release from the Portage Police Department read at the time. “Through the investigation, it was determined the employee had made fraudulent payments and withdraws to several business accounts and customers using Loggerhead Deco’s account information.”
The statement continued, Some victims reporting several thousands of dollars in unauthorized business account payments and withdrawals. It was further discovered that the employee’s association as a co-owner to a business in Arkdale, Wisconsin, helped the employee facilitate these crimes.”
In May 2024, Leida was hit with felony charges of theft from “a business setting, fraudulent data alteration, forgery and wire fraud against a financial institution.” She pleaded not guilty to those charges in July 2024.
Leida’s charges of felony wire fraud, fraud against a financial institution and theft charges were dismissed in December 2024. However, the former reality star’s separate felony charges for bail jumping, theft of a business setting greater than $10,000 to $100,000 and wire fraud against a financial institution were still active.
Fans first met Leida and Eric during 90 Day Fiancé season 6 in 2018. The Indonesia native quickly acquired some haters as she became a villain on the series after she forced Eric’s daughter Alari Stark (formerly Tasha Rosenbrook) to move out of their home. Leida also began to pressure Eric to stop paying child support for his son.
Leida’s relationship with Eric’s children seemed to get even worse and in February 2019, she was granted a four-year restraining order against Alari. However, she eventually dropped it.
“The restraining order [was] never meant to be forever,” Leida told In Touch in November 2019. “I did that because I had to. I have nothing against Alari. It breaks my heart to see this family had to [be] this way, and I know that my husband, Eric, is really [caring] and he loves his kids.”
