(Reuters) - Dallas Federal Reserve Bank President Robert Kaplan said on Thursday that he would like to avoid cutting rates again in September, but has an "open mind."
"I'd like to avoid having to take further action but I think I'm going to have an open mind about taking action over the next number of months if we need to," Kaplan told CNBC in an interview https://cnb.cx/30ufVea.
Kaplan also said expectations for growth are about 2% this year, but he is monitoring weakness in the manufacturing sector and slowing global growth.
