If you've ever had trouble with ingrown toenails then you know how much of a pain they can be.
But fear not, because there's now a device available on the market that claims to 'fix' your toenail problem in just a few simple steps - as long as you're not too squeamish.
The Japanese Makizume Robo Ingrown Toenail Fixer (it's quite a mouthful) features two prongs plus a screw mechanism, which is apparently all you need to effectively relieve the pain in less than 30 minutes.
First, you need to fix the prongs around the underside of your nails, then tighten the screw mechanism in place.
Next, place your foot into some warm water to soak for 20 minutes while the device gets to work.
Once the nail has softened, tighten the device some more, then dry the nail with a hairdryer.
Finally, remove the prongs and enjoy your pain-free toenails.
There are two types of devices on sale for people with different kinds of ingrown nails , although neither are recommended for those with weak nails.
The device also should not be used on painted or decorated nails.
But the price of your self-help ingrown toenail treatment will not come cheap - and will set you back an eye-watering £201 ($315).
