IBPS Clerk 2018: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released IBPS Clerk 2018 Notification for the common recruitment process (CRP) of Clerks Posts (CRP CLERKS-VIII for Vacancies of 2019-20) in nationalised banks at ibps.in. IBPS has announced total 7275 vacancies. Maximum vacancies are in Uttar Pradesh state (944). The online application process for IBPS Clerk 2018 starts from 18 September 2018. The last date to apply online is 10 October 2018. IBPS Clerk Prelims 2018 is scheduled to be held 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th December 2018 whereas, IBPS Clerk Mains is scheduled to be held on 20.01.2019. There is a change in the examination pattern of IBPS Clerk preliminary exams. Candidate should note this change carefully. IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Pattern

The complete IBPS Clerk 2018 recruitment process is divided into main phases:

Phase – I: Preliminary Examination (Commonly known as IBPS Clerk Prelims)

This is a one-hour exam in which candidates need to attempt 3 tests (English Language – 30 Questions, Numerical Ability – 35 Questions and Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions) in one hour. There is fixed time to attempt each section (20 Minutes), this year.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

In order to apply for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018, candidates must hold following eligibility criteria:

Age (As on 01.09.2018):

Minimum: 20 years

Maximum: 28 years

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1990 and not later than 01.09.1998 (both dates inclusive). However, candidates of reserved categories will get some relaxation. Check detailed notification for complete details.

Education Qualification:

• A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

• The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

• Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

• Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

IBPS Clerk Pre-Exam Training 2018

Pre-Exam Training for IBPS Clerk Recruitment Exam 2018 will be conducted between 26.11.2018 to 01.12.2018 (both dates inclusive).

All eligible candidates who opt for and wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the relevant column in the ON-LINE APPLICATION.

While training will be imparted free of cost, all other expenses regarding travelling, boarding, lodging etc. will have to be borne by the candidate for attending the pre-examination training programme at the designated Centres.

Depending on the response and administrative feasibility the right to cancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centres and/ or add some other Centres and/or make alternate arrangements is reserved. Check IBPS Clerk Recruitment Notification for more details.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Centre

A complete list of examination centres of IBPS Clerk 2018 IBPS Clerk Prelims and Mains exam is given in the notification (Page 33). IBPS Clerk 2018 Salary

Depending upon the place of posting, a bank clerk’s salary may vary from Rs. 23,117 to Rs. 21,339. this salary is after 10th bipartite settlement.

On-line registration for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018 (including Edit/Modification of Application by candidates) starts from 18.09.2018. Last day to apply online is 10.10.2018.

IBPS Clerk 2018 How to Apply Online

The process of applying online for IBPS Clerk 2018 is very simple. Candidates first need to register themselves, fill the necessary details and upload the required documents (signature, photograph, left thumb impression and hand written declaration).

IBPS Clerk 2018 Application Fee

Application Fees/ Intimation Charges Payable from 18.09.2018 to 10.10.2018 (Online payment), both dates inclusive, shall be as follows

- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.

- Rs. 600/- for all others

Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate

IBPS Clerk 2018 Results

The result of IBPS Clerk Prelims will be announced in the month of December 2018/January 2019, whereas, the result of IBPS Clerk Mains will be announced in the month of April 2019. Provisional allotment will be done thereafter.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Cut-off

There will be sectional cut-off and overall cut-off as well. Candidates need to clear both cut-offs in Prelims and Mains.  As per notification, each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process. Depending on number of the State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment. Prior to the completion of provisional allotment process scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates.

Note: Marks obtained in the online main examination only will be considered for final merit listing.
