Admissions
James Dixon is committed to providing a clear and transparent admissions process for all prospective students. We are currently undertaking a formal consultation on our admissions arrangements for 2026/2027 in line with the seven-year time frame allowed under the School Admissions Code 2021. You can view the arrangements in the PDF below.
We are pleased to announce that, following careful review, there will be no changes to our existing admissions policies and procedures for 2026/2027.
Our admissions process remains focused on providing equal opportunities for all applicants and ensuring that decisions are made fairly and objectively.

If your child has special educational needs and has either a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) talk to your SEN Caseworker about which school you would like your child to attend and they will explain the next steps.
