Has anyone run into this issue with Microsoft Word 2011 (14.5.8) whereby pasting an image from the web browser causes this annoying "Login" popup to appear?
The dialog window will appear once for each image you paste. So let's say I copy an article and it has three images in it, the text will paste as expected, but when it comes to pasting the images this window appears. As I pasted three images, hitting 'Cancel' will bring up the window again, and hitting it for a third time will dismiss the popup. I'm left with an empty placeholder block for each image and the text (if I copied both text and images).
I am, however, able to drag and drop images from the web browser into Word and that works fine.
I assume this has something to do with Word trying to authenticate with our proxy server for whatever reason, but I don't remember seeing this issue in OS X 10.8, only appears to happen in OS X 10.10. I've tried authenticating, but that doesn't help.
Edit: It appears on OS X 10.8 (MS Word 14.3.9), too. Just no one had reported the issue in over 3 years!

Looks like you're copying from Google Chrome.. If you copy from Safari, do you get the login prompt?

Yes, copying pasting images does work properly in Safari, how bizarre! Any idea how to get Google Chrome to play nicely like Safari?

@morgrowe Hmm.. are you using a kerberos authenticated proxy?
