Hi,
Can you tell us what model your machine is?
Thanks
Hi,
On the front left of your laptop you should see the wireless switch, When you find it you will need to slide it to the right and it should then light up in blue to indicate your wireless is now turned on.
Please let me know if you have any issues after that
Thanks
Eric
Ok,
Can you flip the machine over and give me the full model number, It should be DV6-XXX
Thanks
Ok,
Inthat case can you look on the top of the keyboard where the volume control is located and the wireless switch ( Actually a button) is just to the right of the volume control, if you can touch it it should then turn blue.
If it does not let me know as there is a known issue with the wireless on the DV6-13 series and the DV6-5 series which requires a small tweak of the BIOS if the switch does not work so please let me know
Thanks
Eric
Ok,
Is it currently lit up, and if it is can you tell me if the light is red or amber?
Thanks
Ok,
Can you restart the machine and when it prompts you to press and F key to enter the BIOS (Setup) can you press it and allow your machine to load into the BIOS screen, When it opens can you choose the option to restore it to Default then save your changes and exit at which point the machine should then reboot and start windows.
When it comes up cna you tell me what color the wireless light is?
Thanks
Eric
Ok,
In that case I will have this question closed for you
Thanks

I already put a close request in for this question so you should not be bothered
