Hi My name is Dan. I would suspect the fuel system check valve may be weeping by. Then once the fuel drains out of the rail, you will need to fill the void by pumping the syste up. So I would check the valve on the return side first, then another possible cuase is a worn lift pump or primer pump check valve. I will send a diaghram of the system. I need to change the format to send it to you, is it a d12c or d12d engine?
thanks for your answer, the motor is a D12D , i will apreciated if you send the diagram so a can see where the check valve is located.
Here is the information I promised. The check valve I would like you to look at is item 15 in the parts breakdown. The fuel pressure should be 50-70psi while running, if it is lower than r/r the pump after verifying the filters are clean and not sucking any air. If you have a manual primer pump, they are very common to allow air into the system and would be wise to replace as well. Thanks, Dan.
