Thank you! You have some husbandry issues. Your enclosure should be a screen enclosure and not glass. whoever sold you the enclosure did you a diservice. You do need a tall screen enclosure. Chameleons get respiratory and fungal infections when kept in a glass exclosure. They need the flow through of air becuse of the required humidity.
The UVB bulb you got is not right either , It should be a Reptisun 10.0 which has a better output of UVB. You need a Full spectrum basking spotlight/
The ambient temp should ne 778-80 and basking area about 89-85.
You should also have an automister to help keep the chameleon well hydrated.
The chameleon should be getting calcium on prey at last 5 days a week ad a vitamin days a week.
The eye could be some debris in the eye, dehydration or could be the onset of a Respiratory infection.
WE can start trating the eye with some sterile saline eye drops without preservativ Put one drop in each eye 4 times a day. I wuld also d. Once done by the soak gently pat the chameleon dry and place in basking area.
If that does o a warm soak for 15 minutes. Pat dry and place in Basking area.
If this does not seem to help, then I suggest having him seen by a Herp Vet. I can locate some for you with a State.
I do suggest that you make the changes I noted to prevent further issues.
Please reply to disucss this information and questions.

I do not suggest keeping the glass tank. It is your choice, but I do not recommend glass foor chameleons at all. The Pet supply should have sold you the proper enclosure. and supplies. Reptiles need UVB and calcium otherwise they can get Metabolic Bone disease. The pet supply were very poor in giving the proper supplies so you could give your Jackson chameleon a good environment.
THis question will stay open after rating, so if you find you need a Herp Vet, you can come back and I will be happy to supply a list for you.

Flukers makes a calcium without Phosphorus and that is what you want to use. Reptivite is the vitamin.
I want to make sure you have the best advice for the health of your Chameleon.
