New catcher's glove Kim Losik Parent
Pros: I love that it is a Wilson A2000. The Wilson Brand has always been the "Go to" glove for any serious minded player. Good looking and what a new high school catcher needs.
Cons: The glove was supposed to come to me being somewhat broken it. The glove arrived in a plastic bag, brand new and extremely stiff. I participated in a PBR and every time I attempted to catch a ball it popped out of the glove. No flexibility!!! Disappointed that I paid for a breaking in process and did not receive it.
Excellent Mitt Aaron Coach
Pros: Very nice stiff leather, deep pocket, snug fit. Great looking and well constructed mitt, Wilson leather is top notch. Purchased for a 12-year old who out grew his last mitt. Player has fairly big hands already (size large in batting gloves), but likes the snug fit of this mitt as he breaks it in. After working it with a glove mallet and catching 80-100 balls from the batting cage machine a few times, it's starting to loosen up and he can squeeze most of the pitches. It is still a long way from playable but we didn't expect it to be game ready without a lot of work. He's really happy with the look, feel and fit.
Cons: Not a con, but it will take quite a bit of work to break in and become game playable. Access to an iron mike pitching machine really helps. Player likes the deep pocket of the CM33 but his older brother finds it a bit too deep for his taste - comes down to personal preference.
Wilson A2000 catchers mitt Johnny Dorriety Parent

Cons: The laces will snap very very fast i would not get this glove if it was my kid.
Great Transition Glove For Catchers BSODHA Parent
Pros: I have a 13yo son that has been catching now for 5+ years. We've gone through many options and now that we've transitioned to more competitive play, the timing was right to look into new gloves. You will not go wrong with the Wilson A2000. My kid loves it and its molded perfectly to fit his hands.
Cons: Break in. That is all. This takes time and you have to be patient. Lots of hammering, stretching and catching.

We are interested in either this or the black and copper A2000 but wanting to know how long it takes to break in and how difficult that process is. We have a Rawlings and hate it. Had it for three years and still can't catch with it, it's stiff as a board. Kurt
