Backlit Snowy Spruce

I decided to hike up 4100' Cannon Mountain via the Kinsman Ridge Trail in Franconia Notch on a sub-zero bluebird morning this February. I was able to be in position when the sun rose directly being these snow blanketed spruce. The trail passes right through the middle of the picture. A great image to represent winter in the higher elevations of the White Mountains!
