This serial, about 5 kids who grow up together in  Ssamundong street, Seoul. Their parents also build a very beautiful friendship, because they support and help each other. I could stop my tears falling while watching this kdrama, episode to episodes. We can learn many things from this kdrama, and also it brings joy. Again, this serial is still guessing who is the husband from the main female character. 

I would like introduce one by one the main characters by the picure below. They act very good and bring every character live. Just beyond good, I would say. 

She is so goofy, cheerful, kind heart, and effortless can make the atmosfer joyful. She is everybody's favorite. She is the only girl in the gang. 

He is one of the brightest, he always get first rank at school, and has a cold heart. However, inside of his cold appearance, he has empathy to others. He also overthinking and keep everything only for him, just hard to express or convey to others. 

He is the richest family in Ssamundong street. 

His life only for Baduk (Go) since he was a kid. His mom left, I thought when he is 4 or 5 and after it his father and him move to Ssamundong. Then, met other kids. Because of all that circumtamces, he growth to be a silence kid, innocent, and for other kids he is the precious one. 

He is the most handsome in the gang.  He also smart, brave, and kindheart person. He love his mom and sister, and will do everything to protect them. His father has left him since he was a kid. The problem here, his mother is always accused to take a profit from his father by his grandmother (his mom's mother in law). Guys, do  you confuse of my explanation? Haha, sorry. 

Other than that, he will do everything to achieve what he want, his dream. He never make his mother sad or difficulty. 

Ryu Dong Ryeong 

The goofiest, yet sensitive one. He is the last kid in his family, and always miss his parents caring because his parents are busy. He always understand others feeling and because of this, he the one who a person give advice to other. The funny thing, his father is a teacher but is not smart 😔 (should be sad hehe)

She is the oldest kid in Sung Dong Il family, the smartest amongs her siblings. She is NSU student, and always make her parents proud of her achivement. Other that that, she is very brave and grumpy (nobody dare to her, haha). However, I remember her statement "my hand always cold, but that indicate my heart is warm" yup, her heart is warm, really. You guys, should watch and understand how warm she is. 

The last kid in Sung Dong Il family. He is the youngest, but his face look like the oldest HAHAH. he is a kind person, care to his parents and sisters, eventhough he always be hit target of his sisters. Also, the fact he has a good voice. 

I thought he is the oldest kid in the Ssamundong Street, because Bo Ra calls him oppa. He is very sensitive person and has heart disease. He is waiting and continue to accept in university for 7 years 😭

Ah, he is Jung Hwan big brother and the lucky carrier to his family. 

The youngest in Ssamundonh street and she is very cute. She is Sun Woo's youngest sister. 

That is all the kid, and let me introduce the parents circle, and their character remain their real name, so this is marvelous.

This is such an epic! Dad and mom of the main female character of reply triology remain the same. Name and person, the difference only their age and job I thought 😆

He is so warm, kind, and every single good personality you named it. But he also strong as a father should be (no one should be strong, but because family, we act as a strong person), work as hard as he can for his family. And support their kids. 

She is a kind mother, very very soft hearted, she will everything for her kids, no mather what. She just keep her sicknesa to make her family do not worry. 

She also a good listener to her friends. 

This is the unique couple, they have much love for each other but turns out to be hilarious, ignorant to each other, and know nothing about their kids life in front of their friends. 

By their story, we will learn many things about parenting and behave to parents as kid. Trust me, this kdrama taught a lot of lesson. The episodes like chapters of life syllabus. 

A single parent since Taek little, since his wife died. He is such a loving and caring father. Hew will do everything to his son, whatever he could. He is hard to say love to his son, and the one he loved. He also a quite person rather than other parents gang. 

She is also single parent since jinjoo baby, since her husband died. She also the one who pursue Choi Moosung to move to Ssamundong street after his wife died. Yes, they are old friend because Sun Young brother is Choi Moosung best friend. 

She has 2 children and live with death benefit of her husband. By the time, it not enough so she go to do some works but her son does not allow her to do so. Even that, she prepare money for her son to go to university. This is, also a lesson for me, children is our investment! Save money for their future is a most!

He is a teacher, if I am not mistaken, he is math teacher in the boys school. He and his wife are busy, so sometimes forget to give care to their youngest child - ryu dong ryong. 

He also acts as a grumpy father yet funny sometimes. This family taught as to care to our kids whatever how busy we are 😄

Ok, then let's jump to the story and several heartwarming scenes that stick to my head forever. 

Actually, the plot is same as other reply series. The lead actors remember the previous story of their life in Ssamundong. In 2015, Deok Sun, told about her life back in 1988, but beside her there is her husband. We should guess who is he back in 1988. Since she 2 has crush, Sun Woo and Jungpal. She loves Sun Woo because he acts like he care to deok sun, but it turns to be he want to know and close to Bo Ra 

Then, Jungpal is the one who care but pretend to ignore Deok Sun, since he affraid to make their friendship broken. But Deok Sun, easily to interest to know Jungpal more. Finally, the brave one and act very quite, yes Taek! He got Deok Sun after years admired her. 

Thats love story of them, that make my heart fluttering haha. 

Then what we can learn about parenting?

I would share you, for me is the best scene in episode 1, when Deok Sun birthday and she had a hard time because of country that she will bring the signboard cancel to join the olympic. But their family still celebrate her birthday together with Bo Ra (she wish to have single celebration). This one, is like my case haha. But I'm twin so I cannot complain 😆. The things make me annoyed, only I am the who forgotten. Dunno why, I feel it. 

Afterwards, her father brings a birthday cake when she back from Olympics opening (finally, she replace other signboard member) and told good things made me CRY, Huaaaa 😭 its because my heart warm and touch a lot. 

This scene told, his father still learn how to be a dad. When Bo Ra born, they worried how to teach her, when Deok Sun born they worried how to raise her, and when Neo Eul born they worried how to shape him to be a good person. Being father and mom is a life time  learn, and everything just like new. There is no one expert to be a father and mother. 

Then the good scene also, when Jungpal's mom (cheetah) confessed that she want her son to tell everything or may be some things special to her. Just because, she did not know many things of her son, even exam schedule. She knew it from her friend (Sun Woo mother). 

I feel like (even I am still single), every family has their own problem. And that problems are unique, we cannot standardize. 

Other scene that makes me, realize is when Jungpal mother went to her parents home to take care of her mother. Then, she worried of her family because the she took care every single thinhs at home. She predicted, her home would be messy while she has gone. In contrast, the home was neat, they could take care of their own. And she thought that her family can life without her. She just very sad. Then, Jungpal ask Dong Ryeong about her mom. He told Jungpal, her mother wanted feel they need her. So after that, he acted that they need her mother very much. Then, everything is going fine 😆

Likewise his father, his father is very cheerful person. Someday he brought ice cream for his family. But..... they did not eat it. He feel very sad and feel not being appreciated. 

Yes, that scene emphasize us to learn how to care, appreciate, and love each family members👍

In kids side, we also should learn that may be what our parents have done are not enough. Sometimes, we feel not love, not appreciate, and not receive much care from them. But as I said before, parenthood is a lifetime journey and there is no graduate time. Just like Deok Sun, she always feel forgotten, not love, and not get much appreciate. So, this feeling from her family also make her feel, no one man can love her (this feeling is up when she knew Sun Woo love her sister and Jungpal do not care of her). 

Another story is when Dong Ryeong sick, and her mother take care of him. He said that he love and miss the feeling eat together with her mom. 

I just learn, how busy we are we should spare time for our family 😘 

I would like to mention about friendship. I just touch that their friendship soooo warm and close. This just relate to my life, because I have gang in my home, and we are very close and hand in hand for everything. We love and care to each other. 

The best scene is when, Taek lose Baduk and he waa very sad. His friend made his day, cheer him up and make his head up and smile. That very lovely scene. 

Last but not least

Guys, you should watch this kdrama. And you will know, how I felt. May be some of you find hard and need much effort to watch. But just go on, the you will feel warm and just love scene by scenes, episode by episodes. Trust me. 

This is the last review of reply trilogy, I will come up with other kdrama that touch my heart a lot.
