Very pleasant flight, crew was very nice. The flight was really smooth, big plane. The seats are kind of close together, so comfort was just OK. The boarding process on the way back to New York was a little chaotic. It took a long time.There were no announcements, no loudspeaker just one staff yelling out of instructions and a lot of people crowding in before their term to board. So that could really be improved a lot.
Very disorganized
The crew was very nice. The food was good. The entertainment on the way back to Miami wasn’t as good as the flight over. I wanted to watch Wicked but on the way over from Miami to Lisbon but the screen didn’t work. On the way from Lisbon to Miami Wicked wasn’t an option. Liked the option to check out overhead carry on with our checked luggage Overall the flights were very good. I would fly TaP again

leg room tight
Awful. I told them to cancel my return flight and they didn’t then charged me +$800 days before the flight for a biz class upgrade bid. When I called to confirm cancellation and get refund on buz class upgrade they said I had to go thru orbitz and it was too late. Scammers. Beware.
Little leg room in business. I am tall and could use more.
Was a cheap flight and it got me to Portugal on time. For economy there was ample leg room and the flight attendants were pleasant and helpful.
Flight was packed. This was a very uncomfortable experience. Boarding process could be explained better. Despite recommending a window seat when travelling with a pet in the cabin, the seat in front of me had less space than the center and aisle seats. For Premium Economy, the seats were crammed with minimal legroom. I hate to think what Regular Economy was like. The cabin crew missed me at first when handing out meals. When my meal eventually came, there were no utensils. I'd originally booked to fly Business Class; those seats didn't look that great either.

Overview of TAP AIR PORTUGAL
The primary hub for TAP Air Portugal is Lisbon, while their secondary hub is Portugal’s second biggest city, Porto. Recognized as the national airline of Portugal, the carrier helps service the picturesque Azores islands, which are halfway across the Atlantic Ocean. Flights are available to 34 countries across the world and reach Asia, South America, North America and Africa.
Considered to be the premier European airline for flights to Brazil, TAP Air Portugal reaches more destinations in the country than any other carrier. The World Travel Awards recognized it as the Best Airline to South America on a number of occasions, with the variety of choice and comfort a hit with passengers.
The airline’s fleet is made up exclusively of Airbus aircraft, having transitioned away from Boeing during the 1990s. In 2018 the airline was the first to fly the A330-900, a fuel-efficient jet that is capable of carrying up to 298 passengers. It was also the first airline to introduce Airspace by Airbus, a cabin layout overhaul that improves overhead storage, lighting and system connectivity.
You can choose between either Economy or Executive Class, with complimentary meals included on all services. The Executive category is equivalent to Business Class on other carriers, with gourmet traditional Portuguese cuisine available and recliner lie-flat seats. Other upgraded amenities include noise-cancelling headphones, softer lighting and 115V electricity sockets.
TAP Air Portugal has a low-cost subsidiary named TAP Express, which only operates short to medium distance flights. They are both part of the Star Alliance, which operates services to roughly 193 countries.
