      Council Bluffs police are investigating a crash that killed a 74-year-old man.According to CBPD, the crash happened Sunday morning at near the intersection of Poplar Drive and Birch Street.Police said about 3:21 a.m., the man was near the vehicle on the street when he was hit and killed.Council Bluffs police said the female driver of the car was not injured, and all identities are currently being withheld. The intersection is now open after being closed, with traffic diverted to nearby roads.
