| I wanted to use this lift on my bottom cabinet doors for extra counter space , can I ?if I can how much can they hold or any other products you have for these purpose?

| Assuming that the 33.7 pound rating is for each rod assembly, that allows a 67 pound lift. Can I install two gas shocks on a single door that weighs 70 pounds and install a hold-open device to actually hold the door open. The gas shocks would be an "assisting" device that would "help" the operator get the door open and the hold-open device would keep it there while the cabinet is in use. - Asked about product HA-373.71.902 |

| How does it lock?
Do the rods bend in it on itself?

| | | It is spring loaded, so it does not bend or lock. Once the cabinet bracket and door bracket are attached, the weight of the door along with the stay allows it to "lock".
