GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - Just a day after knocking off Bowie State 84-61, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks were back at it. This time against Emporia State.
Freshman guard Harvey White had an absolutely outstanding game, scoring a career high 25 points, and going 9 for 11 from the field.
White had some special guests in attendance tonight, as his family made the trip over from Australia to see him have a career night.
Colorado Mesa, behind the big night from White, 14 from Ty Allred and 12 from Chris Speller, will go on to take this one by a final of 74-67.
The Mavs will go on Thanksgiving break next week, and then will open league play against UCCS on December 5, back at Brownson Arena.
