Skin Care Routine for Oily Skin
SKINCARE ROUNTINE for OILY SKIN
STEP 1 : DOUBLE CLEANSING
“And if your skin tends to be oily, you can likely tolerate more cleansing,” says Dr. Sandra LeeDouble cleansing can also help if you have very oily skin and are finding that your regular cleanser isn't removing enough excess oil but that a stronger single cleanser leaves your oily skin feeling tight and dry. It's far better to use two gentle cleansers than one harsh, drying cleanser.
STEP 2 : PEELING & PACK
PEELING
Oily skin is especially prone to dead skin cell build up, blackheads, and clogged pores. Above that, environmental damage can cause the surface of skin to become dull, rough, uneven, and can worsen the appearance of fine lines. To prevent clogged pores and rough skin, it’s important that you exfoliate your skin regularly (2-3x a week) with a gentle exfoliant.
CLAY PACK :Oil-absorbing clay pack can seriously change your complexion.
STEP 3 SKIN CARE
TONER-SERUM-MOISTURIZER
"Serums are great for oily skin because they are such lightweight preparations." points out Dr. Howe. " Many serums are water-based rather than oil-based, and so are a better match for skin that's already oily,"
STEP 4 SUNSCREEN & OIL BALM
SUNSCREEN : The best sunscreens for oily skin are non-comedogenic, meaning they won't clog the pores. And more often than not, the best options are mineral based, according to Dr. Heather Rogers.
OIL CUT PORE BALM :Apply before foundation or other makeup products. Oil absorbing balm perfectly smooths out visible pores and fine lines
