This weeks winter storm has brought more than two feet of snow to the Sierra Nevada mountains. Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows reported that this last storm brought 24-33 inches since Wednesday. Red Dog and Squaw Creek chairlifts opened Friday morning for the first time this season.
