Laurelhill has been serving and providing quality education in this community for over 40 years. The strapline for the College is ‘Learning and Achieving Together’. We provide quality learning and teaching opportunities which enable our pupils to reach their full potential.

Laurelhill Community College is an all ability, community school, where we aim to:

  • recognise and promote the strengths, abilities and talents of each individual young person
  • have high standards and expectations for all our pupils
  • offer a broad curriculum which is taught by a committed, hard-working teaching staff complemented by support staff who are dedicated to ensuring each young person is happy, learning and succeeding
  • Help each pupil achieve their very best

At Laurelhill we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities which we believe enriches pupils’ experience of school life.  The college prides itself on our excellent level of pastoral care by providing a supportive and nurturing learning environment for all our young people.

Parental support is crucial to the academic achievement and personal growth of our young people.  We are therefore committed to forging and maintaining a positive relationship with parents and encourage them to be fully involved in their children’s education.

Laurelhill Community College is a caring, fun and friendly place to learn.  If you would like to visit Laurelhill or require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Board of Governors

As members of the Board of Governors (BoG) we are very proud to be an integral part of the College. The effort of staff, pupils, parents and the wider community have helped to create a safe, stimulating and friendly atmosphere in which our children have the opportunity to achieve and aspire to their very best. We continue to strengthen and develop all links within the College community and look forward to raising our standards still further.
