Whether it be from a human being or our favorite pooch, witnessing the miracle of life is amazing. In this case, we have a lovely young mother, cradled comfortably in her nesting area, and she seems as amazed as us at what she is doing!
Already she has one lovely little son or daughter that she is cleaning and taking pride in, but she is not done yet!
Watch as she looks up at the camera, curious but also wondering what her human Mom plans to do about the situation. “Why – oh why – am I having babies?” the pug seems to be asking. It’s so sweet and also a little concerning!
But Momma Pug appears to be coping with the birthing situation much better than ourselves. Please go on over to page two and watch as this brave little pug gives birth to a new generation of pug puppies!

Oh, does she have to be FILMED? And be in a CRATE to give birth? I have a big problem with this. I’ve given birth and I’ll tell you you don’t want to be in a JAIL, and have someone watching you! Poor baby.

My Mom and Dad used to breed Pugs and when they do deliver they have some difficulty breaking the sack with there teeth being offset some how,so my mom used to break the sack for the mother pug and then the dog takes over. I used to hold the pups and mother pug didn’t mind me or anyone else holding them

Irresponsible owners are the cause of any “overpopulation”, not responsible breeders. And we don’t really have an overpopulation problem anymore. Over 80% of dogs in the US are altered and to meet the demand for purebreds and/or rescue dogs now, we’re importing hundreds of thousands of dogs and puppies each year. But somehow breeders are the problems. 98% of dogs in Europe are not altered yet they don’t have any of the issues that we do. Why do you suppose that is? Obviously they are more responsible and educated as a whole. Please stop believing the animal rights propaganda.

I felt like I was intruding. And pulling the puppy out and picking them up so fast after the birth was annoying to watch. Poor Mama.

My pug was 4 and she delivered 9 pugs. Yes 9. 5 black and 4 fawn. 6 females and 3 males. Two past male, and a female. I kept a black female, and the fawn male. They all went to great homes. I love my pugs. She has a nice whelping bed she didn’t have any problems thank goodness. She did everything herself. She was a great mom. She had three ultra-sounds they only seen 4. I was so so shocked. Cried like a baby when they left:(

I didn’t watch it but what I find sad is that she will probably never see them grow up. Probably sold. I have a 3 year old male and want to breed him but I want to keep all the puppies. One big happy family.
