My Demon Episode 15 Preview: In the 14th episode, Do-hee finds out Gu-won made a deal with her father. In the end, Gu-won leaves Do-hee so that she does not suffer.

This series is directed by Kim Jang-han, and Kwon Da-som and written by Choi Ah-il. Kim Yoo-jung, Song Kang, Lee Sang-yi, and Kim Hae-sook will play lead roles in this series. The show is produced by Lee Jae-woo, Yoon Geon-hee, and Ahn Young-in, and the production houses are Studio S and Binge Works.

My Demon now claims the Friday and Saturday 22:00 time slot on SBS, succeeding the broadcast previously held by The Escape of the Seven.

We have previously seen Kim Yoo-jung in successful ventures like Love in the Moonlight, Backstreet Rookie, Lovers of the Red Sky, etc., while Song Kang was last seen in dramas like Love Alarm, Sweet Home, Navillera, Nevertheless, etc.

My Demon Plot

My Demon follows the tale of Do Do-hee (Kim Yoo-jung), a formidable heiress whose cynical view of love is upended when she enters a contract marriage with Jung Gu-won (Song Kang), a centuries-old demon accustomed to preying on humans. Do Do-hee’s icy demeanor clash with Jung Gu-won’s disdain for humanity, yet an unexpected twist sees him lose his demonic powers? In a bid to ensure his survival, Jung Gu-won must now protect Do Do-hee, who inadvertently holds the key to his existence.

As the demon and heiress navigate their unconventional alliance, the series unveils a complex web of emotions, blending fleeting moments of happiness with an inevitable descent into chaos. Do Do-hee wrestles with changes in her life, discovering vulnerabilities beneath her tough exterior. Simultaneously, Jung Gu-won, once a predator, finds himself entangled in a romantic development with Do Do-hee.

In the next episode, we will see Do-hee trying to live a decent life but suffering from loneliness. Seok-min’s body was not found so he might come back as well.

In the episode, Seok-min tries to harm Do-hee, but Gu-won intervenes to protect her. Gu-won then confronts Seok-min, and when Seok-min realizes he’s been betrayed by his wife, he takes his own life. News breaks that Seok-min is responsible for Cheon-sook’s death, shocking everyone.

Do-hee shares with Gu-won and Seok-hoon what Seok-min told her about Cheon-sook killing her parents. However, Seok-hoon advises her not to believe Seok-min. Gu-won reassures Do-hee that he will be there for her.

The following day, Ga-young feels guilty and shares her last performance ticket with Seok-hoon. Gu-won learns from Se-ra about a possible truth regarding Do-hee’s parents.

Do-hee, troubled by Cheon-sook’s involvement, investigates further. She discovers Seok-min’s body is missing and learns about Cheon-sook’s limp since her parents’ death. Do-hee and Gu-won visit Cheon-sook’s office and find a lead in her Bible, leading them to a church where a priest reveals the events leading to Do-hee’s parents’ death.

We see Gu-won’s connection with Do-hee’s father, revealing he made a deal to collect his soul. Cheon-sook witnesses this, and Gu-won tries to make a deal with her, but the car explosion confirms Do-hee’s parents’ death.

Devastated, Do-hee learns the truth, breaks down, and questions her feelings for Gu-won. At an event, she witnesses Gu-won taking a life to fulfil a deal, causing her to leave.

Gu-won, acknowledging his role in Do-hee’s suffering, decides to leave her to spare her further pain.

The series is streaming on Netflix right now.
