My Demon Plot

My Demon follows the tale of Do Do-hee (Kim Yoo-jung), a formidable heiress whose cynical view of love is upended when she enters a contract marriage with Jung Gu-won (Song Kang), a centuries-old demon accustomed to preying on humans. Do Do-hee’s icy demeanor clash with Jung Gu-won’s disdain for humanity, yet an unexpected twist sees him lose his demonic powers? In a bid to ensure his survival, Jung Gu-won must now protect Do Do-hee, who inadvertently holds the key to his existence.

As the demon and heiress navigate their unconventional alliance, the series unveils a complex web of emotions, blending fleeting moments of happiness with an inevitable descent into chaos. Do Do-hee wrestles with changes in her life, discovering vulnerabilities beneath her tough exterior. Simultaneously, Jung Gu-won, once a predator, finds himself entangled in a romantic development with Do Do-hee.

My Demon unfolds a riveting saga that transcends the conventional boundaries of romance, interweaving the supernatural and the human experience. With each episode, the series promises not only a spellbinding exploration of the mystical contract marriage but also a profound reflection on the nature of love, power, and the choices that shape destinies.

My Demon Episode 15 Recap

This part of the story begins with Do-hee living a dull life after Gu-won left. She tries to act okay at work, but everyone can see she’s sad, especially her secretary. Her case is now handled by her previous date, Kang-wook, who promises to do a good job. Seok-min’s body is still missing, and Gu-won has left his position, saying he’ll return after Do-hee finds happiness without him.

Gu-won has a heartfelt talk with Ga-young, who accepts her life choices and the possibility of hurting others. Gu-won relates to her on this. Da-Jeong spends romantic time with Bok-gyu, feeling sad that her boss can’t do the same with her husband. Seok-hoon tries to make Do-hee happy in Gu-won’s absence.

Gu-won is not entirely gone; he appears only when Do-hee falls asleep. One night, he takes care of her after she cuts herself. Do-hee thinks her alter ego is helping her, but suspects Gu-won is still around. She visits his office, finds their photo, and becomes emotional. Bok-gyu gives her Gu-won’s necklace, hoping she remembers her past as well.

Bok-gyu was right; Do-hee remembers her past life and regrets not being with Gu-won when she died. The next morning, she searches for Gu-won but gets kidnapped by Seok-min. He survived, disfigured his face, and tortured Do-hee to lure Gu-won. Gu-won appears, but Do-hee stops him from harming Seok-min. Seok-min shoots Do-hee, and Gu-won, desperate, sacrifices himself to revive her. Gu-won burns away, leaving Do-hee devastated, along with the fans.
