Episode 2 begins with Nam-soon’s adventurous landing in South Korea as she saves the day for many following which she meets Gang Hee-sik who is trying to find the drugs they got intel on. As Nam-soon’s luggage surprises him through and through, he confiscates most of it including her gold wand that would help her find her mother.
Promising the reluctant Nam-soon that he will help her find her mother after inspection, Nam-soon finally relents and arrives at the apartment she has booked. Meanwhile, Hee-sik does not realise that the nurse carrying the face masks had been the one he had been trying to find.
Elsewhere, Geum-ju orders to have Hwa-ja tailed after having felt Nam-soon use her powers to stop the plane but finding out that Hwa-ja had not done anything when that happened. Meanwhile, Hee-sik finds out that Nam-sooon’s items are all clear and genuine, including her gold wand. He then tries to contact her only to find out he cannot connect.
On the other hand, Hwa-ja finds a secret room in Geum-ju’s office while Nam-soon finds out that she has been conned and has to move out of the house. She then finds her way to Han River Park where she builds a ger to settle. She then goes to the police station to lodge her complaint and asks about Hee-sik who has her stuff. However, during this time two people have occupied the ger she built for herself.
Later, Hee-sik gets intel about another drug exchange happening in a mall and heads there with his colleague to catch the ones involved. They succeed in catching one of the people involved in this circle and begin investigating to find every detail that they can get their hands on.
Meanwhile, Nam-soon returns to her ger to find two strangers who have occupied her home. Left with no choice, she promises to make another ger for them next to hers which makes them so excited that they show their professional skills of surviving without money by taking her for a filling meal for free.
Elsewhere, Hee-sik is worried when he is unable to get in touch with Nam-soon, however, he is soon distracted by the case at hand. He tries to get the information needed out of the man but soon gets access to his phone instead. Meanwhile, the masks he let go of at the airport have found their way to a high-tech lab where the drug is extracted from them.
This drug is not like anything that has been seen as it is more dangerous than everything that is found on the market. On the other hand, Hee-sik finally finds out about Nam-soon’s situation while she builds another ger for the couple only to be rebuked by the people nearby.
They begin arguing with the three to have the gers removed and soon end up at the police station where Nam-soon finally breaks down. Right then, Hee-sik arrives and soon returns her wand while once again promising to help her find her mother. He then walks her to her ger and hands her some money while offering to help her with her passport and anything else.

Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 2 Review
Episode 2 has brought some interesting scenes to the table along with ample comedy while making sure that the fun and adventure continues with Nam-soon’s innocent vibe which brings happy-go-lucky to another level. The episode has been a joy to watch and brought the strong girl vibes back with a new plot that is surely here to make a name for itself.
However, while some scenes were clearly here as a filler, the overall episode was a joy to watch and has left me excited for what more is to come in the following episodes. And while the romance between Nam-soon and Hee-sik is quite anticipated, it is the family reunion that I am really looking forward to.
Altogether, this was a wonderful first weekend of the show and I am looking forward to what more the show is set to bring.
