How to Get Fortnite on PS5 Luckily, the process is even more straightforward than it was on PS4. Make sure your PS5 is connected to the internet and you're signed into your PlayStation Network account. From the PS5's home menu, press Triangle to quickly access the options at the top right-hand side of the screen. Press X to enter Search. Type in "Fortnite" and press R2 to search. Use X to select the first Fortnite search result, and press X again to begin downloading the game. Once your download is finished, installation will happen automatically.
