The aptly titled Roku Streaming Stick 4K and Roku Streaming Stick 4K+ offer 4K streaming, naturally, along with other general improvements. According to Roku's announcement, both models will be available in the US in mid-October via the company's website and other online retailers. Oddly, it seems as though only the Roku 4K will be released in physical retail stores, with no mention of the same treatment for the 4K+ model. Roku The Roku Streaming Stick 4K looks to be an upgrade over previous models, claiming a faster boot-up time and a re-designed Wi-Fi receiver for better speeds. It also offers Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Then, of course, there are the typical Roku perks of an easy setup and compatibility with several Apple and Google devices. Roku The only difference between the 4K and the 4K+ model seems to be the inclusion of a Roku Voice Remote Pro, which comes with the 4K+. For just $20 more you can get a fancier rechargeable remote with hands-free voice control, a headphone jack, and personal shortcut buttons. You can find the Roku Streaming Stick 4K on shelves and online in the US in mid-October for $49.99, with plans for Canada and Latin American releases "in the coming months." As for the Roku Streaming Stick 4K+, it'll be available for purchase in the US online both from Roku and other retailers for $69.99. You also can preorder either model directly from Roku right now, provided you're in the US. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know!
