From my experience there are a few things to keep in mind during peak season. 1) product knowledge. Know your own product means that from where it being kept to where it has to go to. This will help to ensure the right item being delivered and keep at the right place especially when the item need extra care/handling. 2) prioritize. You need to know what item is urgent and what item can wait. Go from there. Even if it's peak season, prioritize the urgent one. This will help build customer satisfaction and less customer complains. 3) use the technology and manpower effectively. Do not over abuse your man power. Keep a tight schedule. If your manpower is not happy, there are a lot problem will be coming your way.

Train staff on cross-checking procedures, especially during high-pressure moments, to minimize errors. Implement batch picking methods to streamline the picking process for similar orders, reducing time and confusion. Utilize quality control checkpoints before packing and shipping to catch mistakes early. Lastly, maintain clear communication between teams, ensuring everyone stays aligned and focused on order accuracy despite the pressure.
