We improved our documentation on Search Appearances supported in Search Console -> https://lnkd.in/d-x9Rq5N We now have a table to show all the supported appearances with a short description, the API value, and the Bulk export field. We hope that helps you get more out of the data!
When I notice bugs in the SERP, I initially feel frustrated. However, when I delve into the Search Console APIs and understand # Google's approach to the SERP, I better appreciate how it operates.
I saw a post recently about the use of AI to generate comment spam on LinkedIn. Read these comments with that lens and you'll see how true it is.
Useful update.. will surely help in monitoring search console data in a better way
Helpful! Now if only we could get a Top Stories filter without AMP :)
This is a valuable update! Improved documentation can enhance user understanding and data utilization. Have you considered adding examples of how to leverage these appearances effectively? It would be insightful!
Thanks for the update. This is very helpfull for improve ranking in google...
This is much simpler from what it was earlier… Kudos for making data more accessible and user-friendly!

3wThe evolution of search engines, from providing simple web searches to featured snippets to AI results (somewhat of an advanced scrapper as of now), don't you think how the SEO industry is weakening? I know some so-called experts would say it's evolving but overall the job of an SEO expert is to make the website appear in searches and rank it so it would lead to more traffic hence more sales. But looking at a search engine from the early 2000s and comparing it to now, I think there would be more organic traffic to websites back then. Let's think of this as a simple user. You search for a query (usually something you need info on), in the old search engines you will be getting the websites ranked with the title and meta description. That user would be forced to open a website and get access to the information. From there the user would see the ads, and services offered by the website apart from the information provided. Hence there would be some CPM and possible CPC revenue collected.
