The stone textures seem almost tangible
Wow what a stunningly beautiful watercolour your technique is astounding such authentic detail and the rendering of the sunlight and shadows is so accurate and wonderfully luminous I love Cotman and the early heritage architecture illustrators but this is way beyond all of them!
Wow, such incredible talent that brings pleasure to all who view it Keep it up
Wow, what a stunning watercolour. The lighting is beautiful.
Hi Peter - wonderful work, including the repaired brickwork archway, the colouring of the stone, and also the shadows.
Lovely picture Peter. I attended an outside performance of Romeo and Juliet just round the corner to the right from this view. It was brilliant and all the better for the atmospheric abbey ruins surrounding us.
Amazing. Beautiful
That’s brilliant as always Pete👍👍👍
I Love watercolour - this one is absolutely amazing ! I wonder how much time it takes - huge focus on detail
