What if I’m not a leader?
Anyone can become a leader, because leadership is accomplished in 3 phases:
First, you lead yourself. This is done by applying leadership skills to your daily practice and then becoming aware of the outcome.
Next, you take those skills and use them to lead a team. This is where you refine what you have learned and make it flexible for the different personalities that you lead.
Your final step is to use these skills to lead institutional change. At this point, you are able to educate and lead multiple people through changing how things are done.
But, remember you become a leader by first leading yourself.
