After months of waiting shoppers can finally visit the new look Edge Lane retail park today as the first phase of the development opens to the public.
Stores opening today include Smyths Toys , Outfit - which includes Topshop, Miss Selfridge and more - M&S Food Hall, River Island, JD Sports, Next and TK Maxx.
The new look retail park will also have a Frankie and Benny's restaurant in a brand new building, Tex Mex restaurant Chiquito and a Subway food outlet.
The site will go under the new name of Liverpool Shopping Park and more shops and restaurants are due to open in 2018, when the second phase of the development is completed.
The first shoppers through the doors today can look forward to some special treats, including goody bags and discounts .
The ECHO's retail writer Catherine Murphy will be on site today, speaking to shoppers and bringing you more details on those special offers and bargains you can pick up if you're heading down.

Stacey added: “The store is really big inside. We were in the queue when it opened so got 25% off”
Another shopper described the store as “lovely” and said it was full of bags and accessories.
What the shoppers think of the new retail park
Beverley said she likes that the new Smyths has baskets and trolleys which makes shopping easier.
Ruth Sullivan, 48 who lives close to the retail park, has just finished shopping at Smyths. She said: “The store’s great, it’s about time something like this opened this end of the city. The staff were really helpful too.”
Amanda Fearon, 28 from Whiston visited with her son Matthew. She really likes the new Smyths store and said she found Nintendo items which were sold out everywhere else today.
