Our history
In 2005, a team of renowned hair stylists and biotech scientists from MIT, led by Dr. Bob Langer, “one of history’s most prolific inventors in medicine,” came together to pioneer a first-of-its-kind haircare philosophy rooted in science.
Their purpose? To solve the world’s toughest beauty challenges.

With 120 global patents, 450+ formulas, 44 products, and 200+ awards later, we continue to push the boundaries of silicone-free innovation. Drawing from our original formulation philosophy and MIT roots, we develop and invent proprietary, breakthrough solutions by studying the structure of hair and addressing problems at the root, revolutionizing how silicone-free haircare can perform.
