OFFICIAL: Carvajal medical report

Real Madrid published the medical report about defender Dani Carvajal, who was forced to leave Tuesday’s Champions League match against CSKA with a calf injury.

After the tests carried out on our player Dani Carvajal by the Real Madrid Sanitas medical services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury to the soleus muscle in his left leg. The player’s situation will continue to be monitored.

As always in these situations, Real Madrid will not publish how long Carvajal will be out. Muscle injuries are always tricky but this time the club has not published how big the injury actually is.

What’s clear is that Carvajal will miss time, so Odriozola will need to show that he is ready to perform. Luckily enough for Madrid, there’s a FIFA break coming after this weekend, so Carvajal won’t miss as many games considering that Los Blancos won’t play in two weeks.
