Last night, at One Marylebone in London, Marie Claire celebrated 11 courageous women who are shaking up the way we work and shaping the future for all of us…
Last night, Marie Claire UK hosted The Future Shapers Awards in partnership with Neutrogena at a glittering ceremony in central London.
We scoured the UK to find the most inspirational innovators of 2016. From tech to law, fashion to activism, last night’s awards honoured the ten female game-changers who have shaped 2016 and celebrated them in the only way we know how: with a glamorous ceremony and after-party.
Future Shapers judges this year included founder of Eco-Age and sustainable fashion campaigner Livia Firth, co-founder and CEO of Decoded Kathryn Parsons, head of marketing at Google UK and chair of Women @Google UK Nishma Robb, Company group chairman EMEA of Johnson & Johnson Jane Griffiths and of course Marie Claire UK’s Editor in Chief, Trish Halpin.
'We are extremely proud to be celebrating these fantastic women who like our brilliant judging panel, are truly the trailblazers of modern day working,' says Halpin. 'These are women who are disrupting the status quo and encouraging women everywhere to think bigger.'
