Translation: Now to Reveal the Forms of the Yoshi Tribe Dinosaur-type characters similar to Yoshi appear in "Super Mario World". Actually, they are Yoshi's relatives. Yoshi said so, so it must be true. Here we'll introduce Yoshi's clan. ★Original Yoshi: Kindhearted and powerful. In the game, he shows off unusual tricks such as Mario-carrying and turtle-eating. A peaceful dinosaur usually spending quiet days with friends on Yo'ster Isle. Born on Yo'ster Isle, lives in Dinosaur Land. ★Indian Yoshi: A clan that settled in India after Yo'ster Isle Yoshis set out on a journey in search of the American Yoshi and drifted there. Due to climate and diet, has acquired an ability (flamethrowing) not in the original Yoshi. [relation to original] Not usually able to meet, but there is deep cultural exchange by correspondence. Not much of a language barrier. ★American Yoshi: An American-bred clan said to be the result of eggs hatching after Columbus brought them back to America. Lively and magnanimous. Because the land is wide, prefer to fly in the sky to get around. [relation to original] American Yoshi is a close friend who often comes to play. Throws a party every meeting. ★Japanese Yoshi: Illusory Yoshis said to have been living in Mount Fuji's Sea of Trees since ancient times. Why they are in Japan presently is still a mystery. Staple foods are grains, and characterized by strong legs. Also strong in semiconductors and cars. [relation to original] Cultural differences are huge, but they always keep in touch via communications network. Network pals. |
