Elvira, Mistress of the Dark (September 17, 1951 – ) (real name Cassandra Peterson) is a famous horror host persona. She appeared in two live-action segments from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, both of which aired with Zelda episodes.
Elvira appeared in "Mommies Curse", and later reappeared in "The Ghoul of My Dreams". She generally prefers things that are either dark or Gothic, and tends to seduce men that she comes across (including Mario). Despite her gloomy appearance, Elvira is actually upbeat with a comical personality.
