Poor
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
I’ve bought two pairs of the same trousers in black that are the best fit I’ve ever had. Unfortunately the same size I’ve bought in dark denim seems to be at least a size bigger if not more. The quality of the material is really poor. It stretches like cheap tracksuit bottoms. Would not buy again and regret the purchase.

Denim jeans

No, I don't recommend this
These jeans are so big I didn’t need to open the buttons. And quite baggy. There’s also elastic on the back of the waistband which wasn’t mentioned. I ordered my usual size seeing that they were ‘true to size’. Mistake. The only good thing was the length which made them full length on me at 5’ 4”. I’ll be returning them. Very difficult to get clothes to fit when the sizing is all different between brands.

Great comfy trousers

Lovely trousers. Loose fit and look good. Material is excellent quality. At 5ft 7 the leg length is perfect. Love the side button style, rather than the usual front zip. My only reason for marking down is due to the sizing, as someone who borders between 14 and 16, and these are a 14, they are quite big. Not washed yet so might shrink a little. But other than that really good.

Trousers to “dance” in

I have several pairs of Waterdance trousers in different colours and love them. They wash and wear very well and are less casual than jeans. I wear mine in the winter too but they are excellent in all seasons.

Seasalt waterdance 16 - my perfect jeans

Love having Seasalt available at M&S. I get them quickly and returns are easy. These are a brilliant shape for my big hips / smaller waist. I sized down and they are great. Just wish they came in short - I still need to shorten them even though I'll wear with turn ups.

Good quality jeans.

Good quality of material and like the side button fastening which makes them a bit different. Ordered them in black and think they look a bit dressier than jeans. They do pick up quite a lot of fluff but that’s the only negative comment I would make. I rolled down the turn ups for winter to cover boots/shoes .

Bought these twice in two different sizes - the 20 fits nice and loose and the 18's great as well. As a big legged, fairly tall person I'd mostly given up on buying these sort of trousers, but I tried them on on a whim and was properly delighted. They make me feel much cooler and more together than I actually am, which is the best I can wish for from clothes really.

I am so pleased with both the Saltwater design and comfort although I do have to turn the cuffs down to wear with boots.

Disappointing quality - fabric not hard-wearing

Loved the fit and style of these, but after wearing just twice and even before they were washed the fabric has started to pill quite badly. Won't last long at all!.Very disappointed with this level of quality from Seasalt.

I have slim legs and slightly thicker waist but next size is too big so these are perfect style for me. Love the flat front too and side buttons Prefer slim leg to skinny also. Will be looking at other colours!

First time I’ve bought Seasalt trousers, good fit. Not a lightweight material, but very comfortable.

The legs are too wide for my preference. Quality, waist and length good.
