Concert news: Judas Priest heading to Foxwoods, Hanover lineup includes Clint Black, Emmylou Harris and more

Judas Priest tours to support its 17th studio album "Redeemer of Souls," and will play a show at the Grand Theater at Foxwoods on Oct. 11. Tickets for the show go on sale beginning Friday, July 11 at 10 a.m. through the Foxwoods Box Office at (800) 200-2882. Tickets are priced between $75 and $55.

Ian Anderson is in the midst of a tour that will begin in Europe, sweep through the U.S. in the fall, and then return to Europe for a final run to close out 2014. Anderson is touring to support his recent "Homo Erraticus" release. Anderson plays the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Conn., on Oct. 30. Ticket information is available through jethrotull.com.

The Tedeschi Trucks Band comes to the Performing Arts Center at Simsbury Meadows in Simsbury, Conn., on Aug. 14. Tickets are available through all Ticketmaster outlets and locations including ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000. The band features the husband and wife team of blues guitarist Susan Tedeschi and Allman Brother Derek Trucks.

Country star Clint Black arrives at the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester on Oct. 10. Tickets for the concert are available through the venue's website at thehanovertheatre.org. Ticket prices range from $49 to $39.

The 2014 Rockstar Energy UPROAR festival hits Mohegan Sun Arena for a 7 p.m. show on Aug. 20. Tickets for the Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival are $41 and go on sale on Friday and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com, by visiting the Mohegan Sun Box Office, or http://www.RockstarUPROAR.com. The festival features Godsmack, along with Skillet, Pop Evil, These Raven Skies and Tattered.

The live music lineup at the Hanover Theatre also includes Emmylou Harris (Sept. 23), Paul Anka (Nov. 9), and the Trace Adkins Christmas show on Nov. 15.

David Mallet performs at the Iron Horse Music Hall on Dec. 14. Tickets for the show are $20 in advance and available through the Northampton Box Office at (413) 586-8686 and online at iheg.com.

The Spin Doctors headline the Stearns Square Concert Series on Thursday night. The concerts are held in the square between Worthington and Bridge Streets in downtown Springfield. The shows are free and open to the public. The music begins at 8 p.m. The band's 1991 release "Pocket Full of Kryptonite" has been certified five-times platinum for sales of more than five million copies.

Ray Guillemette Jr.'s King Kountry holds court at the Majestic Theatre in West Springfield on Saturday, July 12. The show features the star of "A Ray of Elvis" performing hits from country artists like Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, and Florida Georgia Line.
