Sitting right at the very extreme end of Stern's Wharf is the Santa Barbara Shellfish Co. It is a tiny restuarant, with the smallest seating area inside along a bench, and outdoor seating overlooking the ocean. The food is possibly the best seafood in santa barbara for its price. I recommend the platter for $11.99 which includes fried scallops, fried oysters, fried shrimp, and calamari, including the legs which are my favorite. The quantity of food is amazing for the price, you'll be leaving jammed. I recall something like 8 oysters, 4 scallops, a heaping pile of shrimp and calamari. And the flavor of their batter is superb. You'll keep going back
