Trump Jr. lovingly calls Kimberly Guilfoyle ‘a Puerto Rican pit bull’ in MAGA power couple display at Georgia rally

Guilfoyle also broke into a dance at the rally to support GOP candidates, as she and Trump Jr. railed against Democrats and repeated false claims that the election had been stolen.

UPDATED:

Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle, the couple known as “the prom king and queen of MAGA-land,” did not disappoint fans at the rally in Georgia Monday night to boost the fortunes of pro-Donald Trump candidates in two critical Senate runoffs.

Both did a lot of yelling in their speeches on behalf of Kelly Loeffler, David Perdue and Trump’s vision of America. They also warned about the rise of socialism and woke culture if the Democrats take control of the Senate.

Guilfoyle, the one-time first lady of San Francisco and ex-wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, specifically raised false claims about people being allowed “to steal elections or the White House or the presidency,” while Trump Jr. revealed his new term of endearment for his girlfriend: “Puerto Rican pit bull.” The term refers to the San Francisco-born Guilfoyle having a Puerto Rican mother; her father is an Irish Immigrant.

Overall, the rally offered fans another chance to get a glimpse of the couple’s unique bond, which formed around their efforts to become a political power couple devoted to MAGA politics.

In her speech, Guilfoyle’s voice rose to an impassioned, ear-piercing yell that was reminiscent of her full-throttle endorsement of Trump at the Republican National Convention. The former Fox News host, 51, also yelled out her introduction of her boyfriend Monday night by praising him as “an incredible maverick who loves his father, who fights and believes in this country.”

“He loves Georgia!” Guilfoyle exclaimed, adding long and loud emphasis to the world “love.”

“Let’s bring home the victory!” Guilfoyle yelled some more. “Let’s hold onto the Senate and let’s hold onto the White House!”

Guilfoyle, dressed in one of her signature form-fitting dresses, also danced sinuously before her speech and after she introduced Trump Jr..

Guilfoyle dancing, incidentally, has become a Twitter meme, with people sharing videos of her swiveling her hips at a pro-Trump rally in December, as well as “getting funky” during Vanilla Ice’s performance at the Trump family’s New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump Jr., 43, revealed his new nickname for Guilfoyle while making fun of the Democratic congressman who closed out the opening prayer for the 117th Congress with “amen” and “a woman.”

“‘Amen’ and ‘a woman’: It tells you everything you need to know about the Democratic Party,” Trump Jr. said, saying that “amen” is not a gendered term. “These people are freaking morons. You can’t be woke enough to appease these people.”

Trump’s oldest son proclaimed he loves “including women.”

“Right Kimberly?” Trump Jr. said, turning around to acknowledge his girlfriend who had already left the stage. “If I didn’t include Kimberly, I’d be in big trouble. You don’t want the Puerto Rican pit bull on you, trust me. Right baby? Am I covered?”

Trump Jr. then got the crowd to roar in approval by asking if they loved her speech. “No one works harder than Kim,” Trump Jr. said. “But she’s fighting for what we all believe in, folks, that’s what makes it easy.”

Beyond being ideological soulmates, Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle appear to enjoy a genuine attraction that they’re not shy about about displaying in public. The two began dating in the spring of 2018, around the time that Trump Jr. and his wife, Vanessa, the mother of his five children, announced their divorce. Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle went public with their relationship in July 2018 when she gushed about him in an interview with Breitbart News. The twice-divorced Guilfoyle said she appreciated her new boyfriend for being “an incredible outdoorsman” and for possessing certain traditionally masculine qualities.

At campaign appearances, the two have teased each other, acted flirtatious and happily revealed pet names. In 2018, they gave themselves the nickname “Donberly,” while Guilfoyle revealed that she sometimes calls Trump Jr. “Junior Mint,” Yahoo reported. She also teasingly called him “savage” at a 2018 event for Turning Point USA, an organization for pro-Trump teens.

Guilfoyle and Trump Jr.’s flirtatious behavior became problematic on the campaign trail, according to a Politico report that analyzed Trump’s loss to Joe Biden. Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle, a senior campaign adviser and one of the campaign’s top fundraisers, would “banter in sexually suggestive ways that made some donors uncomfortable.”

At a fundraiser at the Trump Hotel in Washington in December, Guilfoyle offered to give a lap dance to whomever raised the most money, Politico said, citing two people who were present and another person who was familiar with the episode.

During an event in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, last year, Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. joked about how she raised money in hot tubs, Politico reported. At a fundraiser in the fall of 2018, headlined by country star Toby Keith, Guilfoyle joked that Trump Jr. liked it when she dressed up as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, an attendee told Politico.

The report by Politico came after an investigative story in the New Yorker suggested that Guilfoyle had to leave Fox News in 2018 because of sexual harassment allegations made by a former assistant in a 42-page draft complaint.

It’s not likely that the mostly mask-less Trump fans gathered at the non-social-distancing rally Monday night were concerned about the sexual harassment allegations against Guilfoyle, but they may have enjoyed witnessing Trump Jr.’s emergence as a future leader within the Republican party with the loyal and enthusiastic Guilfoyle by his side.

Author, historian and political commentator Seth Abramson, who live-tweeted Trump’s rally, was a bit taken surprised by Trump Jr.’s “pit bull” moniker for Guilfoyle or that he called her “baby” on the national stage.

Abramson said Trump Jr. has become “a much better speaker.” He said: “Watching him tonight really brings home that he will be running for some office within the next 4 years. It is very, very hard not to see him running for office. (Montana governor has apparently been discussed.)”
