The women stabbed to death in a Christmas Day attack have been named and pictured.
Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24, died at the scene in Santa Cruz Avenue, Bletchley. Police were called to a block of apartments there at around 6.36pm following reports of a stabbing having taken place.
A teenage boy and a man aged in his late 20s also suffered serious injuries in the incident, but are now in stable conditions in hospital. The dog who was injured and taken to a vet has survived.
Thames Valley Police confirmed Jazwell Brown, 49, of Santa Cruz Avenue, Bletchley, has been charged with; two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count each of possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
The next of kin of both victims have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Brangwin, of the Major Crime Unit, said: “Firstly I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the families of the women who have tragically died in this shocking incident.
“We have launched a double murder investigation, which may be concerning to the wider public; however, we have made an arrest and are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident and the parties are known to each other.
