Show support for Martin family at Jenison church festival

Charles Martin died suddenly in August, leaving his wife, Sarah, and their three small children. A fall festival in Jenison will help raise money for the family's needs.

There will be a Family Harvest Festival to benefit the Charles Martin family from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Hager Park Church, 2635 Bauer Road, on the east side of 28th Avenue.

Charles Martin, 30, of Georgetown Township, died suddenly from meningitis on Aug. 6, leaving behind his wife, Sarah; and three children under two years of age.

Activities will include a pizza supper, hay rides, trunk or treat, pumpkin decorating, face painting, classic car show, a bounce house and silent auction. Payment is by donation. Funds raised will benefit the Martin family.
