For 10 years now, Yale Law School's "Yale Book of Quotations" has compiled the most notable quotes of the year.
Fred Shapiro, an associate librarian at the New Haven, Connecticut, law school, told The Associated Press the list doesn't necessarily contain the most "eloquent or admirable quotations," but rather ones chosen because they were famous, important or particularly revealing of the spirit of the times. Here are Yale's top 10 from 2015. Did they get it right? Discuss in the comments section.
