UPDATE: Deputy in stable condition after being shot multiple times in rural Lapeer County, police say

LAPEER COUNTY, MI—Michigan State Police are investigating after a Lapeer County Sheriff’s deputy was shot on the morning Wednesday, March 9.

The deputy was shot while serving a felony warrant at a home on Willis Road, according to Michigan State Police officials.

The status of the deputy or the shooter have not been released.

MSP said there are no suspects at large and no threat to the community.
