Kohl’s Cares For Kids Book/Plush Review & #Giveaway

The Kohl’s Cares program gives 100 percent of the net profit from the sale of the featured books and plush toys to benefit kids’ health and education initiatives in communities nationwide. Since its inception, Kohl’s has raised more than $180 million to help kids.  Currently, the program is offering exclusive hardcover books by Eric Carle as well as coordinating push toys for only $5 each.  Books include: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? (Written by Bill Martin), 10 Little Rubber Ducks, Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother, Too? and The Very Busy Spider.  The coordinating plush toys are always a hit with my kids.  They’re super soft and a really good quality, especially for the price.  The plush toys from this line include a lamb, duck, kangaroo and a bear.  A set of note cards featuring the artwork of Eric Carl is also available for $5 and includes 15 notecards perfect of writing thank you notes and more.

For adults, Crazy About Cookies, a cookbook by Krystina Castella is also available for $5.  Crazy About Cookies is a cookbook with over 300 scrumptious recipes for every occasion and craving.  From bake sales to cookie exchanges or “just because”, this cookbook covers recipes for just about everything.  You’ll even find great tasting vegan, sugar free, low fat and gluten free recipes so there really is something for everyone, because who doesn’t like cookies? Whether your baking for fun or for a bigger purpose, Crazy About Cookies will provide great recipes as well as new decorating ideas in one beautiful book.

The books and plush toys are available at 1,127 Kohl’s stores nationwide and online at Kohls.com through the end of April.  Support a good cause while getting a great product at the same time.  The book/plush sets make an excellent and very affordable gift for birthdays, baby showers and more.
