Cremona Coyotes host Palominos Saturday after beating Piikani

The Coyotes are currently in fourth place in the league with 4-4-2. The Palominos are in first place with a 10-1 record.

CREMONA - The Cremona Coyotes play host to the league-leading Nanton Palominos at the Cremona Ag Society Community Arena on Dec. 14, with puck drop scheduled for 8 p.m.

The Ranchland Hockey League Coyotes are coming off a resounding Dec. 7 win over the Piikani Reign.

Played at the Piikani Nation Hockey Arena, the game saw the Coyotes get four goals from Stefan Lachapelle, three from Ryan Chambers, two from Braden Plaschewsky, and singles from Tyson Scott, Johan Crowchild, Kyle McKay, Andrew Lankester, and Carlen Cey for a 14-1 win.

Coyotes netminder Jason Reckseidler stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced.

The Coyotes are currently in fourth place in the league with 4-4-2. The Palominos are in first place with a 10-1 record.
