December 13, 2024 marks 22 years since actress Trisha made her film debut with the Suriya starrer Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002). Marking the special occassion, Dream Warrior Pictures officially announced the casting of Trisha in Suriya 45 (tentative title). 

Written and directed by RJ Balaji, Suriya 45 marks the Trisha-Suriya reunion 19 years since Aaru (2005), and 14 years since Manmadhan Ambu (2010) where Suriya had played a cameo. 

Earlier on Friday, Trisha had taken to her social media accounts to share a current day image of her celebrating 22 years of Mounam Pesiyadhe.  The actress also expressed delight over working on Suriya 45.

Interestingly, Suriya 45 has been buzzed to be the modified version of Maasani Amman, a script based on divinity, the Suriya 45 writer, director RJ Balaji was supposed to do with Trisha.

Suriya 45 has GK Vishnu for cinematography, and Katchi Sera fame Sai Abhyankkar for music.
