Great Day for a Visit from Glenn Elementary 3rd Graders

On Friday, April 29th, the Museum was visited by a large group of 3rd Graders from Glenn Elementary School. The students learned all about the importance and history of bricks in Durham’s infrastructure. The 3rd Graders listened to brief stories about the factories of Durham’s industrialization, and even got to ‘make’ their own bricks! In exchange, the Museum was given some beautiful sidewalk chalk art.
