UCM (Thanlyin): University of Co-Operative & Management (Thanlyin)

The University of Co-Operative (Thanlyin) was changed into University of Co-Operative and Management (Thanlyin) as of November 2021. At the university, teachers are teaching the teamwork and management and around 600 to 700 students are learning there. The university had turned out 8,000 graduates from degree college level to the university level.  

Rector, University of Co-Operative & Management Thanlyin, Dr Yi Ti Win said "The name of the University had been University of Cooperative Thanlyin in 2021. Upon the subjects given at the university, the University was changed into University of Co-Operative and Management (Thanlyin). We allow enrolment of 500 students for every year. The students who completed second year and diploma from Cooperative College Phaung gyi and Mandalay, Lacquerware College Bagan can join third year of this university. Around 600 to 700 students graduated from this university." 

The university gives lectures based on team work of management to the students. So, the student can apply their knowledge and skills gained from their studies at their work places.

Rector, University of Co-Operative & Management Thanlyin, Dr Yi Ti Win said "To graduate at either business or something, we teach cooperative and management how to control by their self and so, the students can apply well at their work places. This university support human resources for the need of country."

This university trains the students on the team work and management. So, the students apply well it practically at their work places and the country’s Socio-economic development will take place.
