The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa says the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral project should be disbanded.
He also called for a "full-scale probe" into activities surrounding the National Cathedral project.
The MP believes that there should be comprehensive explanations following his revelation of the supposed dual identity of one board member initially named Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng.
According to him, other documents including Kusi Boateng's Ghana card revealed a different name called Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.
This, Okudzeto said would make things difficult in times of accountability.
Already, two of the Trustees who resigned, Bishop Duncan Williams and Rev. Eastwood Annaba have called for a probe into the National Cathedral project, but the MP said he needs to lay emphasis on same suggestions because government is not heeding their calls.
According to him, there have been a delay in heeding calls of the resigned members because the Board of Trustees are trying to "find a middle ground."
However, Mr Ablakwa believes that there can be no middle grounds in the wake of his revelations.
